The distinctive Biasca Iced Tea Jug by Bodum is named after a small town located in the south of Switzerland where it gets unusually warm during otherwise chilly summers. For locals, cold brewed green tea provides exactly the energy kick needed after hiking in the nearby mountains. Like the title says, the tea maker I bought from Mr Coffee needs just a little bit of improvement.

I’ve had my tea maker several months now and there’s 1 problem which makes it part inconvience, part mess maker: Just under the spout, where the plastic starts to flare out has started to crack vertically, so that every time I make tea now, I have to sponge up the tea that has slipped through the cracks.

This is going to make me buy another pitcher, but if this one doesn’t last well, I plan on ditching it and finding one that will last, under normal conditions.
